Pistachios have grown wild for thousands of years. They grow in clusters on trees that can reach up to 30 feet in height and often take over 10 years to produce significant quantities of nuts. If stored in the pantry, it could last 1-2 weeks. In the refrigerator, 3 months. In the freezer, up to 1 year from packaged date.
